Post A samba mount


I'm trying to create a samba mount for so my xp comp can access somefiles
can some one help me make som shareable dicrecrtrories so I can get access to them.

use SWAT, for begginners it may be easier to setup shares in samba.

ok, thanks for your help

I've used SWAT but i still have problems with shares

Now, everybody can see the linux machine, but nobody can browse shares

The linux machine can browse,read and write every windows shares

any idea?

Can you post your [shares] portion of your smb.conf file?

finally it works!!!!
I forgot to add a user of samba with the same credentials that the winxp user
