A records not showing up with Bind

I have bind running RHEL 4 with no problems except the A records wont show up on a dns query from dnsstuff.com for example.

The only one that works is

@ IN A 208.11.X.X

which reads from the zone name

what do I need to do to get the others working

example:

mail IN A 208.11.X.X
www IN A 208.11.X.X

Thanks,
Stan

i guess that the entry that you say work, is wrong

@ IN A 208.11.X.X

for entry with record type "A" first field should be a hostname (mail/www/ftp.) and not a domain name (@)
