Unhappy 5 minute delay mounting remote NFS

Hi, I've a Suse Linux system (7.3) running on a dual athlon Tyan Thunder board. I'm mounting remote filesystems using NFS from a Sun Ultra 10 running Solaris 8.

I can mount these fine from another Solaris machine and from a debian machine.

Mounting from the Suse machine takes 5 minutes before the prompt comes back.

Any ideas? Cheers,
Dunk

Timeout

Could this be a 300 sec timeout?

Tries to connect NFSv3, times out due
to some incompatability, reverts to v2
and succeeds ?
