3com PCMCIA network card not recognized

Hi all

I just installed Minislack on my IBM TP 600E and I have two issues that need to be resolved. In this post, I will be talking about the first, which is stated in the subject.

After loading Minislack, I can't get it to recognize that I am using a 3com PCMCIA card. When I do a cardctl, it does show that it sees the card:
Code:

PRODID_1="3Com Corporation"
PRODID_2="3C%*("
PRODID_3="TP/BNC LAN Card Ver. 2a"
PRODID_4="000002"
MANFID=0101,0589
FUNCID=6
PRODID_1=""
PRODID_2=""
PRODID_3=""
PRODID_4=""
MANFID=0000,0000
FUNCID=255

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can get my LAN card to work? Please let me know!

Thanks for your time!

sax

Nevermind. I posted this same question on the Minislack forum, and one of the site admins built a package that supported my netcard and told me how to install it, and it worked.

At least the folks over there are responsive!!!!
