Exclamation 3com 3c509 not detected in Redhat ES 3.0

I have installed RHEL 3 on my machine but the 3com 3c509 ISA NIC isn't detected when i use commands like ifconfig, lspci, lsmod

The 3c509.o module aint there in
/lib/modules/2.4.21-4.EL/kernel/drivers/net

the module there is 3c59x.o

How do i solve this issue or where can i get the driver.

I also tried this but to no help as it gives syntax errors.:

http://www.scyld.com/3c509.html

TIA

Try to install the kernel-unsupported package. This contains an "extra unsupported set of kernel modules".

Sincerely
Guy
