2nd Fedora Box disables 1st in network

DUH! Never mind, it was a firewall issue on the first machine. J.

I have an existing network of 2 xp machines and 1 machine running fedora 3. Everything worked fine. I add another fedora machine and now the original fedora machine cannot see the network, nor can the other machines see it. Iíve looked through everything I can think of to find out whatís wrong. The other machines can ping it, and it can ping them, but cannot see it on the network. Iím sure this is one of those errors between the chair and the keyboard, but Iím too close to see it. TIA for any ideas. J.

check if the hostnames are same .. worse check the ip addresses also.
type as root ifconfig and check the results on both machines.

hotname should tell you the hostname.

that would be the first steop.
