2 NIC's...No Internet

I got sick of running RedHat 9 on a machine that I use for masquerading and firewalling so I installed Slackware 9.1 (maybe this should be in the Slackware forum?) Anyway, in this machine I have 2 NIC's. One should be the external one (i.e. the Internet), the other should be an internal one. I have managed to get to the point where I can ping all of the other machines on my internal network (from the masqing machine) and they can ping the masqing machine. Now I just need to get the masqing box to connect to the internet through my cable modem using DHCP and I guess I'm kinda lost. When I had RedHat all I had to do was start GNOME (which I hate) and use redhat-config-network to do it. Anyway, I'm at work right now and don't have access to my home machines so if you have any suggestions that would be great.

Thanks,
Phekno

>Now I just need to get the masqing box to connect to the internet through my cable modem using DHCP

You need;
a working module loaded to drive the second network card
to run dhcp client on the interface
maybe to set your isp's nameservers in /etc/resolv.conf
Once you have got internet access from the machine to work
enable NAT for the rest of the machines.

you probably want the /etc/rc.d/rc.inet1or /etc/rc.d/rc.inet2 set to use
dhcp on the second network card.
