11k time_wait?

Hello,

I think it's not normal...

4 CLOSE_WAIT
16 CLOSING
227 ESTABLISHED
205 FIN_WAIT1
116 FIN_WAIT2
15 LAST_ACK
23 LISTEN
442 SYN_RECV
11719 TIME_WAIT
some times it's more than 16-20K
why so much in time_wait? and how can i fix it?

How often does it happen/when did it start happening? Have you checked for DDoS?

it's always like that.
now it's morning here so it's only 11K-17K, in pickup time it can be more than 25K-27K

the ESTABLISHED no more than 400

Well if its always like that and sites are loading then its most likely not a DDoS. Maybe a script issue (came across: http://community.livejournal.com/mysql/82879.html)?
