\\Localhost not accesible...but the shares are

Hello,
When I try to open \\Localhost from Network Neighborhood it gives me the message:
\\Localhost not accesible
The server is not be configured for transactions
......
But I am able to acces any of the 10 shared that I have, example:
\\Localhost\share1 (is accesible)
This problem occurs from all (about 100) PC in my network.
The last change I did was changed the smbpasswd file path.
In the GLOBAL section of smb.conf I have Browsable = YES. Any ideas anyone?

OMG! did you name your linux box "Localhost"?

Usually localhost refers to the box itself... the "local" host :)

If so, try naming it to something else by changing the "netbios name = " line in your smb.conf file.

If that's not the problem, run "testparm" to see if you get any errors.

If that doesn't help, post your smb.conf file and the output from "smbclient -L //localhost".
