[Samba] Problems since update to samba 3

Hello,
Since my last mandrake update (cooker) i do not manage anymore to connect to public shares in my workgroup as i was used to before.
I tried many things with no success and i keep having this silly "session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE" as i try to use smbclient.

When i try to get more log, here is how it ends :

> smbclient //server/share -Uaccount%passwd -d3
[2003/12/29 19:31:19, 3] libsmb/cliconnect.c:cli_session_setup(809)
SPENGO login failed: Logon failure
session setup failed: NT_STATUS_LOGON_FAILURE

Do you know a little more about this "SPENGO" ?
Do you remember necessary adaptation of samba config files as upgrading to v 3 ?

Thanks

Are you sure that "SPENGO" didn't get into your hostname somehow?

I had a look at these links ... chinese ...
I want back to samba2 rpms. urpmi replaces conf files and the problem was solved, even without adding anything to the default urpmi conf files !
it definitivly looks like a new samba 3 feature that I don't manage to go with.
Any help would be appreciated
