[linux newbie]Is there GUI mode for Samba in Redhat?

I can connect to my local workgroup through Samba. I see all other computers in my workgroup and I can access them.
Cant share anything on my linux box. Beside editing smb.conf, is there any other way to share files and folders? For instance in windwos you right-click on a folder and you go to sharing and security or propoerties or whatever..Is there a similar way to do this on Redhat?
I have tried everything and I have read bunch of manuals. They all go the same way,,, editing smb.conf. I Have had no luck with that yet. I was able to see a LocalHost (samba server) on my windows side of workgroup couple of times but access was denied.
I used xmms browser but it doesn't give u an option to share, or I couldn't find it. Been hearing about SWAT alot. I guess I'm going to try that next. I read a couple of other threads on this forum, ppl with same problem,,still no luck.
Any suggestions is appreciated.

SWAT is very easy to use and probably your best bet. You have to install it manually though (at least you had to in RH 8.0). Install using:

redhat-install-packages /mnt/cdrom/RedHat/RPMS/samba-swat-*.rpm

It runs under xinetd so make sure this service is active at your current run level.

Bring SWAT up from the main menu -> Extras -> Server Settings -> Samba Configuration (that option may not be there if you had to do the install above, simply log out and log back in to reset your menu)

Once you have SWAT up (it runs in a Web Browser) the main page has tons of useful documentation. You'll be interested in the tutorial on setting up "Shares".
