[HELP] Xmule,aMule, lmule Client For Connect Behind Proxy

How can configure my aMule or lmule or xmule client, if i was behind a proxy firewall ???

My PC was in a LAN and the router for internet, is protected by a linux proxy (squid) with a socks proxy (dante).

Emule client for Windows, have a section for configure a socks proxy server, in this section i specify the ip of my socks proxy ( with the port (1080) .

Why in the linux version this section are missed ? There are another way to make it (es. iptables, port redirect.....??) ??

P.S. Sorry for my bad english, but i'm Italian!!!! :-)

If the eDonkey clients, you have listened are not able to run with a proxy, you can try mldonkey.
i think mldonkey is working with proxy (there are options for this).
i'm not realy sure and this is only a pointer.

I first tried to install xmule but, since I am behind a proxy server, it did not work (and there is no option in xmule to set up a proxy server).

So I tried MlDonkey after reading this topic. With MlDonkey you can just configure a HTPP proxy. Thanks to this I can now retrieve a new server list thanks to the command : add_url server.met

But, then I can't connect on any of these new servers.

With Emule (on Windows) it is possible to configure a Socks4 proxy and then it is possible to connect on a server (even if I am in LowID).

Why, on earth, isn'it possible to do the same with Linux Donkey clients !?!

Is there another solution to bypass the proxy server ?
I tried to use desproxy but it does'nt work either...

If someone had a solution I would be really grateful
