Whatsapp dispearing message

Hi there,

I have not visit the Android Question site for long time don't know the changes, so I put my question here.

I believe many of you know that Whatsapp is testing a new 'self destruct' feature to delete sent messages after a preset time, but I think they messed up before official release of the feature. My stock Whatsapp deleting message and attachment randomly, I tried the beta, release version as well as the business version they all have this problem, half of the time my received message is empty, only partial display on the title, when I click on it nothing shows up, no message no image no link nothing, the attachment may still be in the media folder though. I email Whatsapp a million times to report about this, but what I get was useless FAQ, they even asked me to send a video of the problem for them to investigate the problem, this is nothing more than buying time for them ! any comment ?

I never heard of this feature but I think that there are apps that can do this self-distructing thing for whatsapp and other messaging apps.

i just got to know baout this whatsapp feature. I'm not frequent whatsapp user..So, I haven't experienced this condition so far. Also, I haven't updated my Whatsapp app for ages. I think you'd better install earlier version until whatsapp solve the issue

This was a thing for Snapchat but with pictures only, and now WhatsApp is coming with it in messages. I'll say wait for it to get perfect for a time then move ahead with it.
