Arrow What you have done with root access?

Yes, tell me what the most efficient or useful thing you have done with your root access. Be it an android, maemo or meego!

May be you can tell me about your fav tweak too

btw, I am still stuck with Symbian.

I use root on my Android handset to overclock the processor, setup wireless tethering, install native Linux programs (tcpdump, openvpn, etc), and move files and applications out of internal flash and onto SD.

It has given me a lot of flexibility and capability that I otherwise wouldn't have had.

android, linux, root
