What Linux (or Android) variant is used on Amazons Kindles/Fires?
Does anyone know what Linux/Android variant is used by Amazon on the readers or Kindle Fire?

The recently released Kindles run Android 4.0, and they've already been hacked into, because Amazon didn't use a patch that patched a vulnerability in 4.0.
