Now i got IP, Primary DNS, Secondary DNS.
Then i tried to connect to internet using network connection tool at the top right icon which looks like "one monitor behind the another".
The problem is once i click that icon, iam getting "Packet data service ended" in my mobile screen.
Once you establish the connection using wvdial, you do not need to use any other tools or clients (such as the gnome network manager) and using others it will in fact as youve found out disconnect the service.
Once wvdial gives you the above output, have you tried testing the internet?
If the service is not working, run ip route to see if there is a correct route put in place for the newly established connection.
Thanks Morphix, once i got the ip as you said there is no need of network connectivity tool, directly open mozilla and uncheck work offline in file menu and start browsing. It works fine for me.
Even if it is nokia mobile modem or EVDO-USB modem both will work.
