Putty in android mobile?

Hi All,

Any one using putty in android mobile?

I am having sony ericson xperia x10i. I plan to login my server using putty in my mobile.

Please advice.

On Android, I typically use connectbot for ssh.

I usually just ssh in on the command line.... Same concept. But for something similar, just like macemoneta said, the only program I know of is connectbot also.

Also, if you are connecting regularly via ssh, the 'Hacker's Keyboard' is excellent. It provides arrows, ctrl, esc, and quick access to the other keys you normally need.

Didn't know about that one, thanks. Note though, I don't use android anymore; I have the Nokia N900, and the terminal emulator on it is actually pretty good, and has options for arrows, control, escape, etc.

@corp769 The OP was asking about Android; are you suggesting a switch in OS to Maemo to use ssh? That doesn't seem reasonable.

No I'm not, I'm just making a reference to what I use, hence why I said I never heard of "Hacker's Keyboard." I did check it out though, and on topic of android, I might be getting a droid X soon anyway.

Anyways..... An exact port of putty would be nice though in Android.... ;)

connectbot is awesome. Thanks macemoneta
