PCManFM makes reading and writing easy to android devices

Hi

We know MTP sucks in linux and transferring files to our devices requires work-a-rounds and other methods like wifi and bluetooth.

Someone told me about a linux file manager called PCManFM. It acts like a normal file manager but it has the gvfs mtp support built-in which allows to read and write to our android device's internal and external storage cards.

There is one caveat tho, if you open PCManFM and another file manager like Dolphin FM for example, it doesn't allow you to drag files from Dolphin to PCManFM.

All copying and pasting must be done within the PCManFM file manager.

BTW, installing PCManFM doesn't override your current file manager. They're both two independent programs.
