Navigator apps, that don't need wifi?

Good day, I have a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2, 7.0, and want to ask about the preferred navigators you use. I may not always use wifi or it may drop out. I have read of some apps that contain maps... and the Navigator that comes with Android needs a net connection.

Which apps do you here use?

I use iGo and it has all i need, unfortunately it is not free but it won't ask for data connection.

I am looking at Navigon by Garmin.

Navigon by Garmin is said to contain maps in memory and use satellite only after that.

Hi, after trying to adjust settings in the personal section and the location serv option, choosing connect without wifi, I found Androids native navigator would navigate without wifi using GPS alone.

My post was an error. My Google Navigator did not work without WiFi.
I will try buying Tom Tom.
