Mobile broadband fail to connect after suspension

I am running LMDE 7 on a Dell 7200 2 in 1 tablet, I am using 4G LTE with the onboard modem and that worked fine on first install. After some use and system updates it becomes unable to re-connect after suspend, no explanation just said it failed to connect. I have the default auto connect priority of “0”, that worked fine and will auto connect upon reboot. Now it still connects but only after reboot, any attempt to re-connect after suspend failed, I must reboot every time or not to let it suspend, what’s going on and the fix, thanks !

if you want to know what's going on you need to check the related logs (and probably increase verbosity/debug level).
see journalctl

Thanks. I decided to live with it without using suspend, I only need suspend to turn off the screen to save battery. I intended to use the tablet to replace my Android tablet, but PC tablet is not designed to work that way !
