To root it, not to unroot.
You really can't bring yourself to write more than half a sentence at a time?
You please answer the question correctly.
if there's a super su installed on your phone theres an option there that can unroot your device
I use z4root but it does not work on my device.
I does not reboot after rooting. I think Acer maybe has prevented rooting. |
no, you'll have not done enough research beforehand, or done something wrong.
try to download root check in google play. If you have root permission. then try to download supersu then try to run it.

I can't seem to get to the root of the problem.

Remember! You are responsible for backing up your phone! If you are unsure on any step, forget about rooting, since it could damage your phone.
Since you don't give more information about your phone, what android version (and which modifications) and what experience your already have, I cannot give you more detailed information. You could ask google for details, or the common sites for custom ROMs; at example Cyanogenmod has a nice wiki on how to root android phones, and which custom ROM version is suitable for it. |
The thread question is so confused. If you want to root your phone you need basic knowledge in reading instructions and computers. First thing to do is gather all your ADB Drivers and install it to your computer. Can you give a model of your phone. Example. "Samsung Galaxy S4", if we know the model of your phone we can help you to root it. There are many ways how to root android phones, by moborobo, binary updates and many more. By giving us the model of your phone we can help you find applicable steps on rooting your phone.

I want something very easy, one-click and get rooted!
I tried z4root, it did not work on my Acer A701 tablet. |
Did you try to google if your device is compatible using z4root, if device not compatible try to search alternative ways how to root it. I think the easiest way and safest way on rooting is to connect it to computer. I already read z4root descriptions on this link [URL="http://www.oneclickroot.com/reviews/z4root/"]http://www.oneclickroot.com/reviews/z4root/[/URL, and i think your device is not compatible on this way.

In point of fact, several prior posters are correct... what type phone what carrier do you use? Did you look on xda-developers.com in your phones forum for specifics? I don't claim to know everything but I do know who and where to ask when I don't know... ;) info please!
I am referring to my tablet, Acer Iconia 701
Hello every one..
how to root my motorola defy +?
Does a unrooted phone still eligible for warranty? Finally rooted my phone with Anyrooter, which offers awesome tutorials on how to do that.
You need to be on the xda-developers forum. They have instructions for pretty much every device on the market. But be warned, you need to do some research on your own. If you show up there posting the way you have here, they'll laugh you off the forum, and then ignore you. They don't suffer fools gladly there, they expect you to do your homework on your own before bothering them.

But they can do it very easily... just kidding. Getting your tablet unrooted, to do it safely you have to do it via an android emulator but it will not be easy. |
