hcitool device not found
 
Hi I am using backtrack linux 5 to pair my phone .

when I am using the hcitool scan it gives me an error message saying device not found. also when I try to use the hcitool options what do I type after

hcitool (it gives me options like -i dev) what exactly do I type here do I do -i and then what for a device.

Do "hcitool scan" to get the name of devices.


Do "hcitool -i <devicename>" and you should have the device paired.

If you need to do more than that to get it to work, just Google "hcitool" - everything you need to know is there.
