Got me a tablet...
...and now Linux needs to get in there.
It's an Archos, so..Arch Linux minded, I'd like to get Arch on that thing. I did the install, now I need to get wireless running. The wikki is somewhat scetchy, and ... this is my first wireless device...

Any suggestions on:
- how to get Arch wireless
- what distro is suited for a wireless platform?

Thanks for any rambles!

looks like they are ARM based systems, so you would need an ARM based distribution, such as arch ARM, as for which is best suited for a wireless platform? well anything new enough to have kernel drivers for the wireless chipset used by the tablet, or one which you can obtain drivers for said chipset that work with an ARM platform.

I'll study the the mean time. Because of my more advanced knowledge of Arch Linux, it seems like inevitable to use an Arch linke system...

Hmm, the only thing I could install (somewhat) successfully is Xubuntu - well, it is a great choice...only now I've only got half of a screen: the top half. Also, I dont get anything at's, as specced, an Archos 9 ...
Anyone seen this behaviour??

Thanks for helpin' out!
