Blackberry 8330 Curve not seeing the mass storage device(memory)

I am using my blackberry curve 8330 to sometimes download files from it to my laptop for work and noticed that sometime when I plug up the blackberry via usb that is will sometimes display on my desktop and sometimes it wont. When Ubuntu lucid doesnt mount it I get this message:

PHP Code:

usb 1-6: new high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2
Jul 31 02
:19:42 Dartanion kernel: [ 4707.130045usb 1-6configuration #1 chosen from 1 choice
Jul 31 02:19:42 Dartanion kernel: [ 4707.151032scsi23 SCSI emulation for USB Mass Storage devices
Jul 31 02
:19:43 Dartanion kernel: [ 4708.006683usb 1-6usbfs: interface 1 claimed by usb-storage while 'bcharge' sets config #1
Jul 31 02:19:44 Dartanion kernel: [ 4709.126211usb 1-6reset high speed USB device using ehci_hcd and address 2

I can see that bcharge has something to due with it but cannot figure out why this doesnt this. It is annoying as hell that one minute I can plug it in and all is fine and others nothing.
I can not manually mount it because the system doesnt assign it a device. What is up?
