AT Commands 3G Module SIM problem


Hi All,

We are using the Huawei MU509 3G Module in the AM335x TI processor.
When we turn ON the 3G Module it is working fine and USB core driver understand the device as a
USB device.

We can able to send and receive the AT commands via USB and UART. But we cant access the
SIM interface.Please see the following response


AT
OK
ATZ
OK
AT+CPIN?
+CME ERROR: SIM failure

please help me to solve this problem.

I believe some devices don't follow the GSM standards and in some cases the AT commands are optional not required. I wrote a small perl script (Mobile Phone Interrogator) a couple of years ago which may show you some example usage of AT commands against a GSM phone. I tested this against a Sierra 3G PC-CARD, and Nokia and Motorolla phones and found a lot of variation in the supported command set. Your mileage may vary ...
