Android-4.3 and current consumption.

Like others, I've had an Android update pushed on me by samsung (4.1.2 -->4.3).

New android fixes a bug in the network stuff (I have a 3g network in some places, and 2g elsewhere, and it catches on much better when there is 3G).

It also uses more current, and the battery on my note 2 is shot by the end of a day's light use, and goes down earlier on any sort of heavy use.

Also, a few minutes of tethering seems to put current consumption up for the day. Has anyone else found this?

Hi Business Kid,

I think this error occurs in all the Android 4.3 mobile. Unnecessary phone hanging and application do not open are some other issue. I would suggest you too upgrade or downgrade the OS version. The Battery power is depend upon how much internet you use. Generally if you use too much internet in your mobile then it reduce the battery life, also too much charging can reduce the battery life.

Thanks for the reply.

I don't get the phone hanging. I think they experimented on Americans and only shipped it to Ireland when they had got past the teething troubles :-)
