advise me on a good phone for a geek...
 

guys, I'm thinking on dropping my old phone, and get a smartphone, but I would like something I could modify like installing network application etc or even a whole OS... I went to the local Bestbuy but the guy didn't even know what OS was running on some of the phones.... what would you guys recommend me?

well you can't be the geek? otherwise you might know about secret sites that I can not tell you.

What about www.iphonekiller.com ? This site lists phones from several manufacturers along with explanations of their killer features. While phones in the lists are not 'usual phones'.
