Restore Panel in Mint Mate 19.3
Alerts after the upgrade about a panel missing for an applet caused med to add the panel. Unfortunately this added the same panel twice, and in an attempt to rectify this I right clicked on the panel on the bottom of the window and choose Delete. This removed the entire panel and now I can't figure out how to get it back, I can still access the terminal via shortcut but everything else related to panel is gone.
I tried to repair the installation but nothing was added, so I am guessing this is some sort of configuration? Found the command dconf reset -f / which fixed the problem. |
Glad to hear that you solved the problem yourself. A suggestion. In an effort to prevent others from taking the time to help out, and then finding the problem is solved, time is wasted. Could you mark this problem solved? If you are not sure how to mark the problem 'SOLVED' here is the link to explain the process: https://www.linuxquestions.org/quest...faq#faq_solved
