Quick Question: In XFCE, How To Position Panel At Top?
Sorry, new to Linux Mint (and Linux in general, really) and I want to position the XFCE panel at the top of the screen rather than at the bottom but I don't seem to be able to find a way to do so. Can it be done???

that's a puzzler, i'll admit.
in panel settings, UNcheck "lock panel", then just drag the panel to where you want it and optionally lock it again. |
Goto the Whisker menu and type panel > run it.
Display tab > "Lock Panel" and de-select it. Close the panel dialog. Next to the Whisker menu you'll see some dotted "handles" click+drag to the top. It's the first thing I do on Code:
System: Host: my-kungfu Kernel: 3.13.0-24-generic x86_64 (64 bit) Desktop: Xfce 4.11.6 |
Sorted!
ondoho, habitual: Thanks very much, I think it would have taken me a while to figure that out! Much happier now 8-)

Props to ondoho, as he was first.
Glad it worked out. |
