Quick Mint 9 Installation Question

Hi people ,

I am a experienced Fedora user and would like to try Mint 9 for something different.

When doing Linux installs , I usually like to create my own partitions , so my question is does the Mint installation process have an option for an Advanced Setup for partitions so that I can create my own /boot , swap and / partitions ?

Thanks.

Most of the mainstream distros allow you to delete and create partitions as part of the install process.

Mint does have option to create partition manually.

Thanks people for the very quick replies.
:)

That sounds good , I do have a choice of creating my own partitions during the install.

I couldn't get on the Mint web site , ATM it is really slow and not working very good , and I though that the installation process may have only had a automated partitioning set up.

PS , I haven't updated my profile in a long time so it shows my old Fedora versions.

that's exactly what I do.

with Mint or anything else.
although I use a shared /swap - which every install insists on formatting !.
