Hello,
My question is exactly that one. But here, I'll re-state in more detail:
I have an Asus G50V Laptop with a "
Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)" network adapter.
The issue now is that I want to give
Linux Mint Gloria a try, but first I would like to know if the problem with the "
Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)" network adapter has been solved for this new release of Linux Mint.
Now, last time I installed Linux Mint, the
previous version to
Linux Mint Gloria (whose name I do not remember),
the adapter did not work... I came to these forums and found a possible solution, but I was confused a bit by it, and desisted on any further efforts to correct it.
If I can find the solution within my posts in these forums, I'll edit this post by pasting the solution, this so that it may help other users that have the same problem I had. Hopefully they will not be confused... the problem was not the information, it was me being unable to read it correctly. However, that is not the point of this post.
Please let me know if the "
Realtek RTL8168C(P)/8111C(P) Family PCI-E Gigabit Ethernet NIC (NDIS 6.0)" network adapter problem has been solved for
Linux Mint Gloria.

Edit: As Promised, here is the previous solution. I remember now why I did not understand, it was because of some problem with how the website was being displayed, here is the link:

Please remember, that I still have the question whether the problem has been solved for the new version, or not. Thanks.
