Linux Mint 18, AMD/ATI and Dual Monitors (not working)

I have 2 monitors and Radeon HD 5670/5690/5730 working with Linux Mint 17 with fglrx.

fglrx is deprecated in Linux Mint 18?

mate-display-properties shows 1 unknown monitor.
Code:
$sudo lshw -c display

  *-display UNCLAIMED
       description: VGA compatible controller
product: Redwood XT [Radeon HD 5670/5690/5730]
vendor: Advanced Micro Devices, Inc. [AMD/ATI]
       physical id: 0
       bus info: pci@0000:05:00.0
       version: 00
       width: 64 bits
       clock: 33MHz
       capabilities: pm pciexpress msi vga_controller bus_master cap_list
       configuration: latency=0
       resources: memory:d0000000-dfffffff memory:fe9e0000-fe9fffff ioport:e000(size=256) memory:fe9c0000-fe9dffff
Can Linux Mint 18 support 2 monitors? (Link to instructions to configure?)

Thank you!

Good luck-

Working now. Did 2 things...

Try 1 -
Instructions found here:
https://forums.linuxmint.com/viewtopic.php?t=227963
As root, edit /etc/default/grub to have GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="radeon.dpm=1 quiet splash"

(and reboot, but still not working. More searching/reading.)

Try 2 -
delete:
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-fglrx.conf

and reboot.

Ok, so after you deleted the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist-fglrx.conf file and rebooted it worked?
