Installing the GTK and GLib libraries does not install the main headers

When I install libgtk2.0-dev and libglib2.0-dev, the gtk.h and glib.h files are not found. Why? The packages claim to be the development bindings.

Never mind, I found the files in /usr/include.

Edit: Only one of them. Gtk.h still wasn't there.

Here you need to install:

gtk2-devel package for gtk.h
glib-devel package for glib.h

and then run updatedb command from root !
