Installing orcale 10g xe on Linux mint 10


i am installing orcale 10g xe on Linux mint 10
and got stucked at 7th step as given on the page:

there is no such file .bashrc.
/home/maz doesnot contain such file

Have you used

Code:
ls -lah .bashrc
to look all files not just normal ones?

got the following message on terminal:

ls: cannot access .bashrc: No such file or directory

now what to do ?

It didn't help .
please give some other solution to resolve the installation problem

Hi,

why don't you do a

touch ~/.bashrc
if the file does not exist?

Did you read Puschitz Website?

then followed the steps as given in the link i posted earlier

when i put the link

http://127.0.0.1:8080/apex
in the brower and pressed go
i got the following error message:
Unable to connect
Firefox can't establish a connection to the server at 127.0.0.1:8080.
