Exclamation Installed Linux Lite for observation-want to try Linux LXLE-LXLE- won't install

Linux LXLE won't install from DVD with Linux Lite on
hard drive-is there a delete/format option provided
on any Linux distros? or, is there a command I can use to perform a delete or (re)format option?

The installers for almost all common Linux distributions will have built-in utilities that will let you partition and reformat the hard drive. You can find instructions for partitioning and formatting your hard drive in the Lubuntu install documentation.

The installers for both systems are very similar and I'm sure those options are available.
How many hard drives do you have? and how many partitions on each? do you have free or unallocated space available to install to? or do you have a partition you are willing to use for the new system?

Posting some info on what you have on the computer now (Only Linux Lite?) and some information on your hardware could be useful.
