[SOLVED] I launched Firefox from terminal, it works but what are these failure messages?

I posted this in the Mozilla Support forum for it is the Firefox browser I am launching, but it could equally be a Linux Mint question:

Launching Firefox from the command line terminal generates various-numbered errors while otherwise successfully launching normally. It's always a pair of lines containing all the same text except for reference in one to "ref" and the other to "unref."

Today I launched Firefox from Terminal twice (using the command:

) and saw a different-numbered error, but the same text:

First launch:

Running 64-bit versions of Linux Mint 17.3 MATE and Firefox 59.0.2 (IBM System X Server desktop).

Firefox launches a profile dialogue from which I optionally choose an empty profile or go ahead and start the browser using my usual profile. I could skip the profile manager, but it's there if ever I need it for some reason. And I don't have to remember how to access it if I need it.

glib tends to spew lots of waeninging like this ignore them they are harmless

Thank you Keith. Obviously if I can play two YouTube videos of pink noise at once all night long and still answer you on a third tab while 6 tabs are open, I have to believe you! I'll mark it solved in both threads. Thank you.
