Question How to check for reboot required using CLI Linux Mint 20.1

I have a couple of Mint 20.1 boxes in my basement that I try to keep up-to-date, but I'd like to be able to do it remotely via SSH. I know the commands to do the updates, but is there a command to check whether a reboot is required? I've seen that some other distributions have such a command, but I haven't been able to find it for Linux Mint. Is there one? Thanks!

I have not used this, so mileage may vary, but a quick search for the base of your operating system:
Code:
sudo apt install needrestart
hope it works?

Other options are checkrestart from package debian-goodies and reboot-notifier (to get an email notification).
