google calendar

Hi everyone. I am trying to sync google calendar with the calendar called "California". It is not an easy thing to accomplish. I have spent hours trying to add google calendar to Linux mint and it is not happening. Can anyone please tell me how to do it. Any help will be appreciated. deanie56

I use google calendar but only via the web interface. My suggestion, however poorly sounding, is that if you're going to use a web based calendar, then stay with that, because syncing it down to a desktop buys you very little. What particular aspects of this other calendar interest you for services where the available options for google calendar do not serve you? Sorry, I know it's unhelpful, just my :

At one time, I had Korganizer pull in my Google calendar (the calendar is really the only Google feature I use with any regularity). It was a nice accomplishment for the sense of accomplishment, but it wasn't very useful in any practical sense. The Google calendar in my Android is pretty much enough to keep me on time.
