Fonts

I get a pop up that a font is still trying to install after it's already installed. Only a restart corrects this malady. Been adding fonts one-by-one as needed. Shouldn't I be able to install a few at a time? Would also love to get rid of these non-English fonts...

Did you run fc-cache to update the font cache after installing the new fonts?

Didn't even know what fc-cache was. Running it now from shell. Changed directories to where all my fonts are and ran sudo fc-cache. Nothing happened, but there were no error messages. That's promising!
