if I open the file
Code:
/var/lib/dpkg/status/
then there is a box with the following error msg in the file:
The file /var/lib/dpkg/status was opened and contained lines longer than the configured Line Length Limit (4,096 characters).
Those lines were wrapped and the document is set to read-only mode, as saving will modify its content.
How can I correct this? If I move or delete the file and run
will that cause a new status file to be generated, or only compound the problem? Thanks again for the time and patience on this problem.
