[SOLVED] Epson ES-200 scanner not recognized.

Hello. Running Mint 20.2 Uma. Cannot get any of the usual scanners apps to see my Epson ES-200 scanner. Downloaded driver software from EPSON/64 bit etc.. and extracted. Ran 'sudo apt remove ippusbxd' in terminal. Says ... not installed so did not remove. I know just enough to be dangerous in linux.... but love using it. Thanks in advance for any help.

have non-free listed? That will usually fix unusual firmware; especially seems how most hardware isn't free, as in freedom.

Hi. Success :-0. The third link worked. The way to do it is to install the downloaded Epsom driver via the terminal. For second there I thought i would have to use windows... :-0. Thank you !!!!!
