The next Ubuntu release 11.04, is scheduled for april 28. Traditionally Mint follows about a month later, depending on the number of adjustments. Nobody knows for sure. Maybe the Mint website can give more information.

Charles.

Although the main edition of Linux Mint (Gnome) is often released 3 to 4 weeks after the latest Ubuntu release, LM 11 may take a wee bit longer. This my own opinion of course but unlike past recent versions of the main edition of Linux Mint where the desktop environment remained the same as Ubuntu's (Gnome 2.3.2) this time around Ubuntu is planning on staying with Gnome 2.32 as the base DE with the Unity shell as the default login desktop. The Mint devs however, have decided to go with Gnome 3 with a classic Gnome desktop as default without Gnome Shell. This means that Gnome 2.32 along with Unity have to be removed for LM 11 and Gnome 3 without Gnome Shell installed in it's place. On top of this the Mint devs are making sure that complete compatibility with Ubuntu repos is maintained even though the Gnome versions are different (not too hard I'd imagine but it's nice of them to check).

Should be quite the release.
