Cinnamon 18.3 default screensaver timing
 

I have just upgraded from Cinnamon 18.2 to 18.3

This may be a minor issue, but I’ve noticed that using the default screensaver (Screen Locker) when it kicks in now the screen changes instantly, whereas with 18.2, there was a three/four second “fade in” whereby the screen would fade slowly away as it changed to the screensaver.
I can’t see if there is anyway to alter the changeover time, or perhaps it has gone forever?

That's sad the fade-in has gone - for me anyway.
