Cannot get NFS share permissions to make like my login on Linux client

Hey all.

I have a DS214 with DSM 6 (updated). My Laptops have Linux Mint 17.3.

I will very much like to have simular file permissions on the Synology NAS DS214, as I have on my laptops in a NFS share.
That is my username as owner of the dir's and files, and groups name are users.
I have two shares that I use, and my fstab is like this:

192.168.0.#:/volume1/Data /home/myusername/NASdata nfs users,rw,auto 0 0
192.168.0.#:/volume1/Foto /home/myusername/NASfoto nfs users,rw,auto 0 0

"myusername" should also be the owner of the dir's and files on the NAS.

I have followed a lot of what I could find on the net, but cannot find anything that helps about this.

How to get 100% identical permissions rights on the NAS as on the local Laptop(s)?

Regards

John

NFS goes by UID, not username. I keep all UID's synchronized on LAN for this purpose.

I have changed settings on the Synology. As I have read elsewhere it is a "dirty" hack, but it works here for for me.
Not possible in a company because of lack of security...

But please show how an example of synchronizing of UID's on a LAN.

Thanks.

Well, I create new users with same UID in every box. That does it. It is possible to change UID's after the user has been created. On larger networks I'd use NIS.
