After Auto Update cannot see programs from menu button - but some are in favs
I'm a Newbie to Linux. I just got a notice to update, which I did, and all went well.
The only problem I see right now is that when I click on the menu button, there is the list of the major groups, (graphics, accessories, all, etc), however when I click on the group, it is empty.
Example I clicked on Menu / Internet - and there is nothing listed. If I click on Menu / Favorites - Seamonkey is there.... and it works.
Any ideas how to get the software list back on my pc?
BTW, I tried the software manager, and looked for Gimp, which I had installed previously. It showed the option to 'Remove'(even though it is not in the Graphics Group), so you'd think it was still there. So I did it thinking I could reinstall it. Nope, now it is not listed at all.
Help, please.
Thanks in advance.
