I never understood desktop weight. I found no matter what desktop I used the computer weighed exactly the same because they have no weight.
imgur screenshots work here.

There's that word again. "Heavy." Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the Earth's gravitational pull? -- "Doc" Emmitt Brown

Hey – great posts again guys – well I will be dipped in….DS - I think y’all hit the nail on the head (kinetic energy; mv2) So conducted Newtonian experiment..
Got some flash drives with various isos , Antix, Loc-OS, LXLE, KDE, Zorin etc and climbed step ladder to the top platform and dropped them together at same instant.
Wo – to my astonishment Zorin hit the deck first; like a lead balloon – did y’all know why my local rock band had to rename to LED Zeppelin? Yet – my flash drive with Antix-LXDE simply flew away just like the LXDE logo…!
Still don’t understand why I can’t post pictures by putting an imgur link between those sets of brackets as instructed. Would one of you guys grab that imgur link and post it so that I know it is possible – thank you.

Example Usage (Not linked)
Example Usage (Not linked) Hey this works giving "status" icon... so lets try again..

Straight copy and paste of https://imgur.com/a/wtya3vA between brackets yet nothing again...
Wondering if it is the javascript JIS or the 3 blocked + 17 cookies causing problem on just this site – I’m clutching at straws here...

It did not work because you are posting an incorrect link. The link MUST end in .png, .jpg, .gif, et cetera or the board software does not understand it is an image file. The proper link I used to post your image below was: https://i.imgur.com/xPEjDOe.png

Also, @Andy-1... when your Imgur window pops up for your chosen image, you need to choose the option to COPY that I've marked in this image below:
You'll note that the link has the .png that I mention in the post above
Code:
https://i.imgur.com/Msda9yk.png[/img
Anyway, hope that helps. Have a great day!

vtel57 - It is so kind of you to take the time to answer in such an accurate specific manner to spoon feed this old fool
I can see that you have png at end of link but can't see forum instruction to do so.
As you have kindly added new link that works with png - I am of course convinced - thank you
I am pretty sure that you must be a registered imgur user as I do not see that dialogue box that you have highlighted with a red rectangle.
I quickly found that if I right clicked the actual image in imgur and then selected copy link it included the file extension - Big Smile..
(rather than the usual grab or copy a link from the on screen menu)
What can I say - I thought I was having a senior moment

Yes, that works, too. Known for many decades online as "hot-linking". Once you have the link you want to an image file (ending in .png, .jpg, or .gif) you can just click the wee little image icon in the posting menu just above your text here at LQ.org and then add your copied link to the pop-up window that appears when you click that little icon.
Oh, and I'm no young Spring chicken, either... just been at this a bit longer than you have, maybe.

Well – fingers crossed – I had better give it a try….

Wo - it works - the old fool is in some sort of control...
Only seeing 75% of screen width on this Forum's web site so have to use slide bar to scroll across to RH side.
(Never use full screen for security tracking reasoning per Tails+Tor)
Will log out now and try Dell laptop running full Zorin 16.2 with same Ffox settings..
Thanks again
Edit - Now on 2012 Dell with 1600x900 resolution - if I close the bookmarks panel I can see all the picture
Yet lower slide bar still nudges screen a little...
This is the only web page I have encountered that behaves like this.
As I expect many users have at least 1600 x 900 res these days; not a problem.
Think my 2008 HP has screen res of 1300 X 867.

Reason: Now on Dell with 1600x900 res
