My modern machine uses an Ubuntu Xenial-era custom version of Puppy Linux with an XFCE desktop.
It's lighter than Xubuntu and boots off USB that can be removed to run completely in ram.

Not sure when I posted my last one... my system changes slowly, maybe imperceptibly to others.
Anyhow:

Still Archlinux.

Good ol' Bodhi Linux. Haven't run across anyone running that OS in a while. The originator of that distribution, Jeff Hoogland, was a regular on Scot's Newsletter Forums, where I'm an Admin, for quite a few years. Haven't run across him in a while, though.

I am indeed bodhi fan, I especially like it runs fast even on old hardware, and ubuntu/deb base makes it easy/generic for all the non desktop specific stuff. But the reason I replied is cuz your link is dead (or requires sign-in) and I was curious.... but yeah Jeff started this distro and afaik is no longer a contributor, just a user, and not even an active one... last I heard he quit his day job to make money live-streaming games, but that was few years ago....
But anyway, this is a screenshot thread, so here's another, from my decade old laptop, plex server, and primary pc....

Hi, @enigma9o7...
Yes, Ooops! I forgot that you have to be a registered member at Scot's Newsletter Forums to access the Member pages. That's all the link was... a Jeff Hoogland profile page from that forum.
Jeff has his own website, by the way... https://jeffhoogland.com/. I don't know how active/updated it is, though.
Bodhi was/is an outstanding distribution. I had a couple friends back in the day who swore by it. Best thing about GNU/Linux... you get to use what works best for you!

vtel57, thanks for the chuckle.
Actually, with Fluxbox, I use fbsetbg to rotate the wallpaper every [unit time]. If I'm using Plasma, I use the "slideshow" desktop setting to do the same thing. Over the years, I have collected many purty pictures and I like to enjoy them all.
Here's another one: http://pineviewfarm.net/wp-content/u...2021-11-13.jpg

Hey, Frank...
You said, "Over the years, I have collected many purty pictures and I like to enjoy them all."
Indeed, yes. I have quite the collection of desktop images on my system. Currently, I'm in "seasonal" mode (Autumn), so oranges, browns, etc. I'll be switching over to Thanksgiving mode in a week or so.
I like variety in desktops. I've customized wallpapers on my systems since all the way back into my Windoze daze. It's much easier and more fun in Slackware, though.
Today's desktop...
