OH MY! Pure Debian? Stable? Does not sound like you.
That's what I use but via BunsenLabs Debian - with OpenBox and Tint2 and of course Conkys.
Neat desktop, WW Z

Rok is The Wall. The tires are a "Privacy Barrier".
He does have some good eye candy desktop backgrounds.

AntiX 16.1.
Desktop is all my own work (graphic design having been a hobby of mine for decades).
The eclectic icon selection has been culled from 100's of Google searches over the years.
Background from a search on DuckDuckGo (I forget what the search term was, now..!), and modified using Mooi's 'PhotoScape', running under WINE.
AntiX comes with Conky as standard (which I don't like, so I've replaced it with GKrellM.)
Mike.

Puppy 'Xenialpup' 7.0.8.1 (32-bit). Again, desktop is completely home brewed.
This is a fairly standard 'layout' for my Pups; once you've seen one, they're not so different!
I do like a 'busy' desktop...
Mike.
