Mune is Debian Jessie. After some flip-flop among gnome, cinnamon, xfce and mate I've settled now to mate. I find it the most user-friendly desktop.

Here's my Jessie desktop/server.
Just LXDE with conky, nothing really special.
I find it interesting that I use awesome WM on every other computer I use, but this one I've never really liked it. Maybe it has something to do with the other ones all being laptops?

Sooner or later, i3wm ends up on all of my machines. Besides the awesome color scheme, I've also broken the stacking and tabbing modes because windows hiding behind other windows is obviously a Very Evil Thing.
Also, Chromium + Vimium is The Good Stuff. Or, if you like Firefox it pairs well with Vimfx. I like both sets.

Debian 8.2 Jessie (Stable) with the Cinnamon DE. Using my little laptop mainly as a music player through jRiver Media Center, Spotify app and Radio Tray.

I am currently getting ready to install my new debian Jessie. Since i never thought of it at the time, I never specified Cinnamon when I ordered it. I liked cinnamon on Linux mint, so I'm sure I will like it on Debian. But I'm always interested to hear someone else's opinion on their favorite DE. I definitly don't like KDE, too cluttered for me, xfce is okay. But which DE if any is most compatible with Debian?

@offgridguy All of them. Depends on you, your preferences and of course your hardware. Just an opinion.
@Shadow_7 - nice clock can you share the code?
Mine: BunsenLabs (Debian Jessie) - OpenBox - fbpanel: systray only

IBM Z60M Laptop picked up as a freebie from the city.
Icewm Window Manager. Kostfro Dark Theme. Dragons Jewel animated mouse cursor. Censored Wallpaper.
Edit. Fluxbox with tint2 on the same laptop. Tint side bar set to autohide when not in use. Same goes for the slit/taskbar in fluxbox when not in use.
