XIO: fatal IO error 104 for Fedora Core 7 beta.


Hi,
I have installed FedoraCore 7.0 Beta Kernel version 2.6... up on my exsisting RedHat Nash 4.2.
,in my Dell laptop which has ATI Radeon x1300 video card.
Now i have problem in display, when i give command startx an error message comes i.e. Fatal IO error 104 .I have tried the command "system-config-display" as suggested by Ian, but it says command not found. Please help :-(. I have also try to ran aticonfig, but without any success. Please Help...

Then it's not installed, so install it.


when i give command startx an error message comes i.e. Fatal IO error 104
(E)grep your /var/log/Xorg logs for "WW" and "EE" entries. Maybe that has some clues.


Also note FC7 is bleeding edge which means you do the bleeding.
The first place I'd register this problem and look for clues would be the FC bugtracker.
